Somebody please inform Brianna that she is supposed to be fascinated and enthralled with the Baby Einstein videos.
I was thrilled to discover that the Vernal library has the entire collection available. So I brought one home, put in on the laptop, set her next to it in her bouncy chair... and she just laughed at me. No attention given to the French-speaking puppets whatsoever.
I dont get it... I thought babies all loved this stuff.

I love that little smile! She has a look like, "I am supposed to be occupied by this, but I would rather just have the full attention of my mother 24/7!" What a cutie :)
Maybe Brianna prefers Barney or maybe a different Little Einstein movie or MAYBE all that stuff is overratted and an addiction that doesn't need to happen. Whew - I feel better. Did I tell you that I liked Mama Mia!?
My girls didn't like those videos either . . . until they were 2!! (maybe 1 1/2) They should be called Toddler Einsteins!! I had a bunch of kid DVD's when we got the girls, the one DVD series that they were interested in watching at 10 months was Signing Time (teaches Sign Language.) That was, however, an older version, not sure if the newer version would catch their attention. I guess they do have Baby Signing Time (which my girls also loved and still do today at almost 4!!)
oh sheesh, MOM... you know me. Im the last person that would allow my children to become tube-addicts. Heck, we dont even have cable service out here in Vernal, just an antenna. I believe that a little educational DVD every now and then is heathy. Its a different kind of mental stimulation. I cant teach her sign language or French, but a little animated puppet can!
WHAT THE HECK.... there were 3 other comments here, and now they are GONE! What happened???!! I dont get it... I KNOW I didnt delete them.... did blogger randomly delete them?? AH! so confusing. And frustrating. Am I losing my mind? Baby brain setting in? HELP!
Tanner doesn't care for the baby Einstein videos either. He never has. However, he is obsessed with Elmo!
That's too bad she doesn't like those videos. Those were such a life saver for me. Just keep trying I guess. Have you tried Teletubbies? That's another good one for small babies.
