As you may notice, there are some changes here... we finally got our first real family pictures done!
Our friends (and fellow ERAC-ers) did them on Saturday in Provo. Valerie is a fabulous budding photographer - check out her skillz at http://www.photographybyvalerie.blogspot.com/
Anyone that is willing to attempt to deal with my extreme unphotogenicness, Brian's plaster smile, and Brianna's hesitancy to smile at cameras deserves major props.

Ok, these are SO cute! Your photographer is awesome and I love how you match, but you're not matchy-matchy...perfection!
Chelsea, those are wonderful! You are an inspiration to me. I need to be better about family pics! You look beautiful, I don't know what you mean by "unphotogenicness!"
I love them!!!! Awesome pic's!!! and I agree you are full of CRAP when you say you are not photogenic. Your family is so beautiful!!! P.s. we need to hang out soon!!! oh and keep Dec. 6 (Sat) open - we are having a PARTY for christmas...good ol' chocolate fondue, cider or something, white elephant gifts and Josh Groban christmas music just for you!!!!
Your pictures turned out great, Chelsea! Brianna is such a cute girl! She looks like she belongs in the Smith family!
Awesome pictures! Do you mind if I ask how much she charges? We need to get pictures done for Christmas. We haven't had professional family pics for a while!! Again, so dang cute!!
Thanks for the gushing at my picture taking! I am glad that you like them. I was sad that I didn't get to see your reactions to flipping through them the first time. (Yes, you are photogenic!) -VAL
You guys look great! I love them!
Yes, I do feel bad about UW's turnover, it really is sad! I am doing S4S input for them right now, did you know that?
Cute pictures! See you in a few days!
I love these pictures. You all look great. And the color selection was great. Brianna's dress is adorable.
Re: unphotogenicness - thanks everyone who disputed my claim, but it's really true... we had almost 200 shots taken, and you're looking at the only ones I would allow anyone to see. In the rest I had frizzy hair, a weird facial expression, an awkward body position, a double chin, a makeup smudge, etc....
JULES - can't WAIT for Dec 6! What can I bring? (besides fabulous white elephant gifts, which I've been saving all year)
CHELS - you're doing s4s? That's awesome! I'd love to help out with deliveries if they need it.
MANDY - you should definitely hire Valerie! She is great, and doesn't charge hardly anything! Better hurry though - she'll get famous soon and have to raise prices. Her cell is 801-318-8347
NATALIE - I'm so glad to hear from you! I check your blog all the time, but I didn't know if you checked mine (espeically since I'm sure you're busy with your new little one!) I agree - she looks like a Smith. She looks just like my oldest brother Steve's kids.
I feel cool cuz I leave the longest comments on my own blog...
Hey, I love all of these pictures and I love the family collage. You guys look awesome and I love little Brianna and her dress. I love fall pictures.
Love the family pictures! You guys look so good!
I love your family pictures!!! They are FABULOUS!! I wanted to get some done before all the leaves fell, but I forgot that Fall in Rexburg in about 4 weeks...so now I am too late! Darn it! Guess We'll have to aim for Spring maybe?... Here, that would be like April or May- right!!! Better get it on the calendar!!
I love your family pictures! Such a beautiful family! You look beautiful! Also, that is awesome about Amanda! She is a fantastic runner! Thanks for telling me about that!
Chels, You guys are so cute! I love the pics and I totally know what you mean about the pasted-on smile. Mitch sees the camera and his face automatically does it! Haa haa. I have missed ya. I haven't seen ya in a long time. You family is adorable.
Take care, Ivy Lou
