travel itch

Vacation time. We need to get out. Trying to decide WHERE...
Here are the rules:
-must have beach (ocean beach)
-must be somewhere we haven't ever been
-must happen within the next 8 weeks
-ideally, outside the continental US

suggestions?

Julie said...: although it is inside the continental US I say you go to the new england states because I want to go there!!! and if you go there then you can tell me all the things we need to do :) hehehe..... but outside of the US - I know Rhett's family LOVES to go to Victoria Canada. Mexico I would say is out at the moment - so if no where else - why not the Polynesian Triangle? I WOULD LOVE LOVE LOVE to do that!!; May 3, 2009 at 6:33 PM

The Morrells said...: TAHITI!!! That would be my first choice. If I were to stick around in the U.S., I would go to Oceanside, CA anyday! We went there last summer and stayed right on the beach and walked down the Pier every night. They had a fun little playground right on the beach for the kids and the hotel had a nice pool so we went back and forth between the beaches. Lots to do in that area (Disneyland, San Diego Zoo, Universal Studios, Lego Land, etc. are all easy driving distance).; May 3, 2009 at 10:01 PM
