R.I.P. laptop

Our four-year-old Mac ibook has returned home to it's Apple-Maker.

After mourning our loss (by drop-kicking it across the street and screaming at the lifeless battery) we are ready to move on.

In this effort, I am asking for suggestions.

I am so torn - to Mac, or not to Mac? Desk or lap? Cost vs quality?

Til this is settled and a purchase made... you'll be hearing from me via Brian's sloooooow work computer or the (icky) public library.

The McClellan Clan said...: You can't give up on the mac. The new ones are AWESOME!! I've tried using other peoples things and its so retarded. Mac seriously does things so easy that makes since, and you don't have to deal with pop ups and virus's like you do with the PC. If you don't want the laptop the iMac is awesome. You can store so many pictures with it having all the room your saving from the monitor being so small. Its not much more than the laptop either!! don't trade over girl. You know you could have just gotten a new battery. We replaced just our batteries on my old one and it really helped. The new ones though..... YA BABY!!; March 10, 2009 at 7:49 PM

Unknown said...: Go with the Mac. I love my Mac laptop! I told my husband the other day that if (when) his pc FINALLY dies, we are replacing it with a Mac desktop. I think Macs are much faster and have better features than a PC. That's just my opinion! :); March 11, 2009 at 8:16 AM

Mandy said...: Well, I'll go against the grain and say that I don't like Macs. However, since that what you have already been using, you will probably be happiest with a Mac.
