Brian lost his wedding ring. He was in the doghouse. We searched and searched for it. Said a prayer for help. Weeks later he noticed a shiny object in the melting snow. Ring found.
Seriously?! Thankgoodness for the snow to keep it nice and shiny hopefully :) I bet Brian and you both felt a huge relief! I remember at SUU one day I was walking to class and there was this girl sitting in the snow, digging through the snow and crying. A couple of us stopped and asked her what was wrong and if we could help - she had lost her engagement/wedding ring. So we all started digging and we found it in the snow too!!
The same thing happened to us our first year of marriage. I was really sad he lost it, especially since we were sooo poor. But, found in the melting snow! Yah-for the hope of spring!
I'm glad to know my husband's not the only one who loses important things like wedding rings. He lost his in a lake at a Mutual activity. Thank goodness prayers really do work!

Oh my word! I found one of our elders Deer Park Library card. He is leaving in a few days - going home to Arizona, but you can imagine how he'll feel if I remember to give it back to him. Ever notice how folks just love to chime in with their story?

He is lucky that no one stepped on it! I lost a necklace a few months ago and got it back, but not before it was stepped on and twisted.

Wow, lucky that you found it! I had no idea that so many people loose (and find) things in the snow! :)
That's great he found it! what a relief. I'm shocked Kimball hasn't lost his yet. So far so good.
