"He said Jesus AGAIN!!"

So the whole idea of conference-bingo seemed brilliant, and this is the first year Brianna could really do it on her own.
The problem is... we ran out of candies pretty fast! Have you noticed how many times the prophets and apostles say those bingo words... Temple, Family, Heavenly Father, Faith, Jesus Christ.... If she gets to put a little candy on each word when she hears it- that adds up to a LOT of candy! But if you limit it to one per word- the game ends quickly and we're back to chaos and distraction and no one hears any conference messages. And we need those messages!! So I don't know what the solution is, besides re-watching the talks later. I think whoever invented the conference bingo game idea never actually tested it out.

And the boys were definitely enjoying conferenzzzzzz :

ha ha ha. That really makes me laugh. We used the ipad...great parenting, I know. And does Brian have any other shirts? ;)

I was just thinking while posting this that he's been wearing that same shirt in recent blog posts. I think the problem is that the shirt gets washed, and put back at the top in his drawer of casual shirts. Then when he goes to grab a shirt, he just grabs the one at the top. Then later it gets washed and goes back to the top of the pile.....

Candy conference bingo - boy, would our Bishop ever take issue! We played "bingo" at the rS bday party and he basically said "no more bingo!"

We totally go there with candy every conference. It's the only time the kids see their mom buy candy on purpose for them to eat (outside of easter bunny baskets & halloween) and they love it -- they're glued to the screen like it's the end of the world.

Oh, I forgot to say how we do it. We don't do bingo, like you said it goes too fast. The kids have a list of words and they have to have 15 check marks to = a piece of candy per word. Some of the words that come up more frequently require 25 check marks. you should see Devin's tally sheet from last weekend, it's pretty funny to look at.

Haha. Love it. Madeline did a similar activity. I was a little proud that she was actually getting stuff! :)
