I get them all dressed up so we can tour the parking lot. It makes so much sense.
But actually, when Brian filled me in on the talks I missed (we took turns listening), he said there was one directed at parents of young'uns, telling us that we were in the right place, even if we thought there was no point being there. Okay.

Before having a baby, I thought it was lame that so many parents were in the halls for most of church. I was clueless then:)
Years ago - quite a few - there were children's classes during stake conference. That really was a good idea. I'm trying to remember - maybe general conf. as well. Now, that makes sense.
I know it's hard to believe at this point, but it DOES get better! We come loaded from home with snacks, toys, drawing and coloring stuff. Also, I noticed that if we sit more towards the front, they tend to do a bit better. Now if we can get Tommy to cooperate....:) Hang in there, though. It's worth it!
I hear ya! I used to try to make up excuses to miss stake conference, in fact one of Micah and I's biggest fights was over not going to one! Ha! I thought it was pointless, and he thought we should set the example. I guess he was right....I guess.
