Eventually, she'll fall asleep. But in the meantime, I don't know what to tell you. Addison never slept in her crib or the pack n' play. Eventually we stopped fighting the beast and put her in a big kids bed. Now she just sleeps with me! LOL
There are some days that we have "manditory quiet time." Basically, Eryn gets tossed into her room with a couple of toys and doesn't have to sleep,. BUT has to play in her room (on her bed) for 15 minutes and be QUIET! She usually falls asleep in about 10 of sheer bordem. : )
Time for a toddler bed! When it's nap/bed time we pick up all the toys and put them in bins with lids (that Emma can't undo). That means she only has books to play with. She usually gives in after 20 minutes and a couple of reminders. Just don't let her out of the room, even for a second. Emma never will fall asleep once she's snuck out from a nap.
When we lived in San Antonio, Texas, for a short time, we used a portacrib for Natalie. Before that, she had been in a regular crib and hadn't figured out how to climb out of it. She was about Brianna's age. I remember the pride on her face when she climbed out of the portacrib by herself for the first time and ran out the bedroom door with an excited look on her face . END OF NAPTIME FOR US!
