Charity did an excellent job at behaving with good restaurant manners… sitting under the table goofing off with the other kids poking peoples legs.... 🤷‍♀️ 😂

Lashes

Mere gets mad if I don't brush my lashes! So I sent her photo evidence that I DO in fact (sometimes...) get around to brushing my lashes like she asks me to.  

Seriously though, of all the unnecessary things I have in my life, this one is my favorite. I haven't worn mascara in like 9 months, since she started putting these lashes on me. I just get to wake up to long dark perfect pretty lashes.  Not excessively long - those "volume" ones look ridiculous and damage real lashes.  These ones are just simple and pretty. Plus it's fun hanging out, chatting and relaxing on her table every couple weeks for my touch up.  

I'll be so sad someday when I don't get to have these anymore! Hoping that someday is... never!! :)

Sunday stop and family photo op!

We wanted to go to a Sacrament meeting on Sunday, but needed to time it right with our journey home from Utah... it just happened to work out that we stopped in Brigham City (which I'm not sure I've been to before) for a church service. They've got a temple there so we jumped out for the picture. I was all set to take it, when a woman drove by and asked if we'd like a family photo! So kind of her! Darn those thoughtful Utahns :)

They loved the Embassy Suites in West Valley City! Though I wish we would've stayed somewhere closer to our other cousins - Brad/Kathy/Debbie's families.  Oh well, next funeral!  :o

Sammy visit

We didn't really have time to visit Sammy...we were already late getting on the road to Utah...but it would've eaten at me forever. I can't just drive by the Pines exit and not zoom in for a quick visit. The thought of Sammy spending a whole day without a family visit makes my heart hurt. And seeing her light up when we walk in....all the feels!! 💛💛💛😇 I love our Sammy so much! And I love seeing my kids love on her too 😍💛

Hit an Elk in the Butt in Butte

We've definitely got guardian angels watching over us!!
Around 1am we were 23 miles from our hotel in Butte (en route to Utah for Grandma's funeral) and suddenly BAM! 💥 This giant grey elk ran right in front of us. Goodness those are stupid animals. It could've waited literally 1 second longer and not gotten killed. I'm so grateful Brian stayed calm and just let us hit it instead of swerving and making things worse. It's such a miracle we're all ok and the car damage was minor. 😇🙏😇🙏😇🙏

This handsome punk lost his ring a couple weeks ago. He's not sure where, maybe in the mud lake while kayaking in Arizona at his National Sales mtg excursion.

So why not replace it with a $22 ring from the 50,000 Silver Dollar rest stop in Wallace?! 😂

I challenged my kids to memorize the First Presidency/Quorum of the 12 Apostles and they did it! Next challenge: all the Presidents of the Church!  They do so great at it, and it's fun.

We got to babysit Weston Williams for a week!
He's a sweet little 2 year old guy.
It was challenging but fun! I am grateful we got a chance to provide this service for our friends, plus it was a good reminder how challenging toddlers can be 😂

Facebook makes this picture pop up every May 8th. Apparently it was the first pic I was ever "tagged" on. 13 years ago today my friend Tiffany got married in AZ and I got to be part of it. Such a cool thing to have been friends with someone for so long! We met at age 12 in Utah at Academy For Girls (a program that doesn't exist anymore, ha!)
