Dental work

While Bennett was getting the REAL dental work done, these cuties had fun pretending.

PS- obviously.... I could've saved myself a lot of time and money if I just had done a better job flossing and brushing my kids everyday.
Moving forward with a renewed determination to do better!
Even if it means personally flossing and brushing all 80 of their teeth twice every flippin day.
This trip to the pediatric dentist was awful for Bennett- he cried for an hour after asking me to "take it out" (thinking the feeling of numbness was a big chunk of something). Even a froyo trip didn't help. Poor guy. My fault, ugh.

They're loving it! And I love our routine. Wake up, get ready, out the door, drop off all but Charity, I go workout, pick them up at the end, lunch, home for afternoon chores, then play til bedtime. It's gonna be a great summer!

Treehouse and zipline in-progress by Papa!

I'm not sure what sparked this big project during this particular spring/summer....they've been living in this house for over a decade... but I'm so glad my dad isn't breaking his tradition of building a treehouse and zip line at every house we've lived in!
He'll say he's eager for it to be DONE.... but I think he's secretly having more fun putting it together than the kids are going to have using it :) He also built a huge outdoor staircase that will have a waterslide next to it! So creative and fun. Handyman papa!

We've loved having Bethany stay with us this week while her parents are on a little getaway! She's a sweet girl, and fits right in with our little parade.

The brand "So Delicious" had a little contest (I think to promote their new product - CashewMilk Icecream) - where we had to submit our "Freezeface" (better known as "BrainFreeze") faces. So I snapped this photo, put it on Twitter (which I hardly ever use - I only have an account for random purposes like this), did the appropriate hashtags.....and guess what - we WON! They tweeted me back saying we're one of the winners, then emailed to schedule our delivery of a cooler full of their new icecream!! So awesome!!

Yay for swimming! They were ridiculously happy to get in the water. Like just total pure exhilaration. It was beautiful to see! And even more beautiful to see how mellow/tired they were after a couple hours of this :) And I got to sit on the side chatting with an old friend who randomly showed up (Katie Costello). Win win win.

Seattle weekend!

We had a great time on our quick trip west! Brian took the twins to see Dr. Brady in Vancouver for some dental work, and I rode with mom and dad, then we all met up for Cooper's play that evening. Super fun to spend time with the fam! Highlight was definitely going on a run with Lindsay around Green Lake. Such an awesome area. Would've loved to hang out there all day. Sunny days in Seattle are just gorgeous. And I love how much more people are into healthy living there. The kids did awesome with all the long drives, they're great. *I* still despise spending hours and hours in a car, but that's just life! We made it back in time for church, then I had a Laurel mtg, and it was fast Sunday....so it was a loooong day. Still need to catch up on lost sleep from it! 😴😴😴😴
