The fun has arrived!

Now we just have to somehow turn this:
into this:
ps - I'm going to be really annoyed if Brianna likes playing with the jumungous shipping boxes more than the brand new swingset.

***update: Brian spent allllll Monday and Tuesday evening putting this together with a friend! It looks awesome and Brianna loves it. Though her 4-yr old friend Olivia made her feel bad because she doesn't know how to "pump" her legs on the swings. How do I teach Brianna to pump?!?!

OH FUN!! Emma would probably think the boxes were more fun, at least for a few days. And I love your new blog header...Brianna's face is priceless.

It's inevitable that she will love the box, but the swingset is fun too. My brother in law and sister in law just got one of these for their kids and Addison LOVES to go to their house and play on it!

Just leave the boxes out in the rain and she'll learn to love the swingset :)

It looks really fun! I have to say that I'm a little bit surprised to see that you bought this new as opposed to buying via craigslist. You must have gotten it for an amazing deal or something.

Oh Meg , believe me - I tried! But Craigslist here isn't he same as other places. It's lame. Still, I've been checking that and our KSL.com classifieds for about a year. I've only seen two available, and both were old and metal. I even put wanted ads on craigslist trying to find one. But I did get a great deal on this one. It retails for over 500, but I only paid like 150 because I had some walmart gift cards and a coupon code and this one was on clearance. Plus free shipping. So it's worth it to me. I also love that it's not metal or wood - this poly plastic stuff is really durable and safe. Now if only it were easier to assemble!

I chose landmarks and had the kids kick them. The way our swings were positioned, I'd tell the kids, "Kick the house, kick the fence, kick the house, kick the fence..." in rhythm with the swinging. They picked it up in no time.
